This is a real life scene - it happened one day off Montauk when I was included as a guest artist on a boat with Paul Devon, Bob Clouser, and Bob Popovic. We got blown-out with the wind and decided to walk along the shore west looking for a little cubbyhole to fish with our fly rods. This blitz came up and lasted for about twenty minutes with some large fish coming out. If you look closely, you’ll see everyone is either hooked up or carrying a fish. It was over as quickly as it started.
